Dr. R. Šiukšta about HORTILED in research
Dr. Raimondas Šiukšta from Vilnius University, department of Botany and Genetics uses HFLC HORTILED lighting in greenhouses, newly built in Life Sciences Center.
They use HORTILED lights as the main source for model tradescantia clone, cotton plant, mimosas, tomatoes and many other plants, used for experiments.
Dr. Raimondas Šiukšta says, that tradescantia plants willingly flowers and model tomato sets abundant fruit harvest due to HORTILED light.
Dr. Raimondas already recommended Hortiled light for colleagues – they are installed in the greenhouse-orangery of Vilnius University Botanical gardens.
